Jardin Nicetas: The Garden of Glowing Lights

Who would have thought Bohol can give you this panoramic neon attractions in the province? And where can we find it? Simply it’s in Pilar, Bohol. Pilar is an interior town which is considered a fourth class municipality of the province of Bohol. It is a part of the third congressional district of the province with a total land area of 6,248 hectares. The town is 76 kilometers away from the province’s lone and capital city, Tagbilaran City and may take 1 hour and 40 minutes of travel.

Another attraction of Bohol has been added to its various destinations for local and foreign tourists and visitors. A garden filled with thousands of faux flowers that light up at nightfall will surely wows your eyes  with its main spectacle is its Glowing Garden which features 5,000 red and white roses and 15,000 tulips.

It takes around two hours from City of Tagbilaran to get in touch the town of Pilar, Bohol. If you wish to travel own your own, from Tagbilaran City you may head to integrated bus station (Dao) and catch a bus going to Pilar. Tricycle and habal-habal (motorbike) are the primary mode of transport around Pilar.

The scenic view of Batanes, serene feels of tagaytay, 180 degrees view overlooking half of Bohol, with glowing gems of tulips and roses cascades! 🌹 🌷

According to its owner and manager Vanessa Cubrado, the artificial flowers are LED-lighted and are spread across a 650-square meter area at a hilltop lot in Purok 5, Barangay Bagumbayan.

Jardin Necitas has a cafeteria and other attractions such as LED-lighted animals, pathways and cherry blossoms. According to the owner, she was inspired to start the project, the first of its kind in Bohol, after Cordova, Cebu’s 10,000 Roses quickly gained popularity in the region including Bohol.

Vanessa is the second daughter of Mayor Necitas Cubrado of Pilar.
